Dp dough is awesome. I can be totally wasty pants at 2 am and order a calzone from my favorite delivery driver nick burgeson. He drives so fast in his wrx that i think my calzone actually gets hotter on the way to my house. Or maybe its just him ;)

Not an owner or an employee--LOVE dp dough. I started out in college in Greeley and was soooo excited when they opened one in the springs. Their calzones are awesome. The only thing that kind of sucks is they delivered to my house when they first opened and now they say I am two blocks out of the delivery zone and they won't over ride it- which sucks because I spent a lot of money on them!

The calzones are off the chain and very reasonably priced. I live in south COS and it was definitely worth the drive up North Nevada. Kick-ass food, will definitely return.

Well, from reading all the "5" ratings, all I can figure is that the owner and employees are trying to make this place look better than it is. The calzones are average. Locally, here in Colorado Springs, Panino's makes a much better calzone and offers other options as well. I will say that the box the calzone comes in makes you hopeful... but when you open the box, you find plenty of extra space. The calzone is not large by any means. If you are determined to do this.... call your order in ahead or order online...or bring a book. Even if you are the only one there, it isn't quick. The most memorable part of the experience was the heart burn from the sauce. I was there at 12:00 noon and it is now almost 8:00 pm and I can still taste it. :( I guess what turned me off the most was they were quick to say pick any two calzones for $10 today (Wednesday special) But... when I picked one of the $6.95 menu and one off the $7.50 list, it turns out the $7.50 calzones aren't part of the "2 for $10" special. Would have been nice if there was a place to sit and eat too. You kinda had to stand around with a semi-strange crowd or sit on a plastic chair in the corner. The atmosphere of a Jiffy-Lube waiting area.

This place is great. All the zones are delicious. I have been a customer of this place for 20 years starting at Penn State. Im glad they opened one here. Try it and you will be hooked.

Every college kid praises this place but not me. I went for lunch with a friend. It's a hole in the wall, poorly decorated and located. It's almost sketchy. It was dead, a bad sign for business. The staff there was bored, lingering around and being unhelpful. They eyed us until we ordered and were super quiet - it felt uncomfortable. They barely promote what's going on or cater to the needs of customers. They were only decently polite when spoken to but nothing more. They didn't even want to be there judging from their behavior. They claim to have variety but that was the last thing I saw. Menu is hard to read but items are extremely basic. Waiting for food took over 30 minutes! It was ridiculous! After, we bit into disappointment. Our calzones were bland and warmed over. The dough was under cooked, they have no idea how to season their food much less know what salt is, and their sauce tastes like it was right out of a can. Did I mention the calzones were small and everything was SUPER overpriced? I wanted to give the place a chance. Everyone talked about it. Now I know better. We should have walked out. A short time later, I ended up with a bad stomach ache. I was miserable for the rest of the evening.

Tasty calzones and quick delivery. We tried the Italian and the Maui Wowi. Pretty good flavors, nothing spectacular. I'd recommend to anyone who wants some quick food without any frills. I will probably give it another try when I'm back in the Springs.

D.P. Dough is good. However, they are sooooo rude and unprofessional. We originally called and asked for delivery on a Groupon we purchased. The Groupon was for carry out only, but when I gave our address to the employee, he said "yes, we deliver to your home". We went ahead and ordered delivery and loved it so much we ordered delivery from them THREE MORE times. However, when we called to order this evening they said we were "out of the delivery zone". I asked to speak to the manager and he couldn't have been more rude. When I explained they had delivered to our address several times, he made it sound as though he did us a favor by allowing it, but he wouldn't any longer. No apology, just an arrogant gentleman who was rude to me. He didn't say they changed the areas for delivery or anything. He raised his voice and wouldn't stop saying "you're out of our range for delivery". VERY poor customer service.

Ordered delivery and it took over an hour and a half. When the driver showed up he was so stoned he could barely speak. The the food was cold, and it honestly was like a microwave dinner. Definitely skip this place.

Food has always been on point. The only reason I am giving 4 stars is because my order had been messed up the pass 3 visits. Hopefully the next time I go back I won't have to be disappointed w stuff missing w my order. I love the Italian calzone!

Cons: can't sit in the restaurant; to go or delivery only. Not the greatest location. Need one downtown instead/also. Pro: Absolutely amazing calzones. Good prices, friendly staff, and fast service. Just discovered this place and so excited for it.

The calzones are good. They are packed with cheese. Packed. I'm not sure it's high quality cheese either. With that said, if you like cheese and doughy crust, these really are good. What I realized is that it is close to UCCS for a reason. I would have loved this place (that delivers) when I was in college. Now that I'm not, it's not quite my style...although it is pretty good.

Great place and good food, the food is made to order and it's always fresh and hot! They have great specials also: Mon-Tues 1xZone & Soda and Wed 2x$10. They also offer a military discount.

Delicious! Free delivery. Talked to Patti and she threw in cinnamon sticks. Lived the speed zone. Order online! It takes time.

Definately a place I would recommend. Pros: The calzones are delicious, as well as the boneless chicken dunkers. The wait time is always short and the prices are good. Staff is okay for the most part, and they deliver. They have a cooler with drinks and they have a wide variety on their menu. Cons: Meatball calzone lacks flavor, as well as the marina sauce. They also don't have a dine in area. Over all I am impressed with their food. Two things I would definitely improve if I was the owner would be the marinara sauce and the staff, just maybe have them be a little more attentive. I would give them a 4.5 star rating if possible.

Went to this place for the first time the other day. I was pleasantly surprised with this place. The wait was short. The price was good. The order was perfect. The portions are large. The staff was friendly. Definitely a place I will go to again.
